Optimum Aesthetic

What guarantees does Optimum Aesthetic provide?

Our main guarantee is our many years of experience. We have been working with laser technologies since 2011 and use equipment from the American company Candela, one of the well-known manufacturers of equipment for aesthetic medicine. Over the years, our specialists have gained extensive practical experience in performing treatments.

The Optimum Aesthetic team continuously studies modern methods of aesthetic cosmetology and uses up-to-date technologies and equipment. This allows us to tailor treatments to each client based on their skin and hair type and offer effective solutions at competitive prices.

Why is an initial consultation important?

For clients visiting Optimum Aesthetic for the first time, we provide a complimentary initial skin phototype assessment and a test of 20 trial pulses using the Candela GentleLase system.

This allows us to assess how the skin and hair respond to the laser before a full treatment. The 20 test pulses can be used on a small area, such as the fingers or upper lip.

What equipment does Optimum Aesthetic use?

Laser hair removal treatments are performed using the Candela GentleLase system manufactured by the American company Candela, which is widely used for laser hair removal.

The equipment allows treatments to be performed effectively while maintaining a high level of comfort.

What results can I expect from laser hair removal?

The results of laser hair removal depend on individual factors, hormonal balance, the treatment area and the number of sessions completed.

A course of laser hair removal can provide a lasting reduction of up to 90% of unwanted hair. Several sessions are required to achieve the best results because the laser is most effective on hairs that are in the active growth phase.

What problems caused by shaving and other hair removal methods can laser hair removal help with?

Shaving, plucking and other temporary hair removal methods may sometimes lead to skin irritation, ingrown hairs, breakouts and dark marks after inflammation.

These problems can affect both women and men. Laser hair removal can reduce the need for frequent shaving and other hair removal methods, helping to minimize the irritation and ingrown hairs associated with them.

Recommendations before laser hair removal with Candela

To achieve the best possible results from laser hair removal, it is important to prepare properly for the treatment.

Hair in the treatment area should be no longer than 1 mm. Shave the underarms and intimate area 1 day before the treatment, and all other areas 3 days before.

Avoid tanning for at least 1 week before the treatment. During this period, use sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher on exposed areas of skin.

Do not apply alcohol-based cosmetic products to the treatment area before the session.

For 1 month before the treatment, do not use tweezers, sugaring or waxing to remove hair. Between sessions, use only a razor.

If you are unsure whether you can prepare the treatment area correctly, the necessary preparation can be performed at the clinic in accordance with the current price list.

Recommendations after laser hair removal with Candela

Because the treatment is performed on an outpatient basis and requires proper aftercare at home, we recommend following these guidelines:
  • Avoid massage for 2 weeks.
  • Do not visit saunas or steam baths for 2 weeks.
  • Limit sun exposure and avoid tanning for 2 weeks after the treatment. Throughout the laser hair removal course, apply sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher to exposed treated areas.
  • When treating body areas, wear loose clothing and avoid friction in the treated area.
  • Hair in the treated area may be shaved 2–3 days after the treatment. Do not use tweezers, sugaring, waxing or any other hair removal method that removes hair from the root. Between sessions, use only a razor.
  • On the day of the treatment, limit water exposure: do not rub the treated area or use foaming products on it.
  • During the first 24 hours after the treatment, apply Panthenol to the treated area 2–3 times a day.

How long does the treatment take?

The duration of the treatment depends on the area being treated. Modern equipment and laser applicators of different diameters allow laser hair removal to be performed relatively quickly.

On average, treatment of the upper lip takes 5–10 minutes, the underarms 10–15 minutes, and the legs 15–20 minutes.

How much time should there be between sessions?

The average interval between laser hair removal sessions is 4–6 weeks.

The exact interval may vary depending on the treatment area, individual hair growth patterns and the specialist’s recommendations. Following the recommended intervals allows subsequent sessions to be scheduled in accordance with the natural hair growth cycle.

Why isn’t one laser hair removal session enough?

The laser is most effective on hairs that are in the active growth phase. At the time of treatment, some hair follicles are in other phases of the growth cycle and become responsive to the laser later.

For noticeable results, a course of 4–8 sessions at the recommended intervals is therefore required. A course of laser hair removal can provide a lasting reduction of up to 90% of unwanted hair.

Maintenance sessions may be needed in the future. Their frequency depends on individual hair growth patterns and should be determined together with a specialist.
